On January 23, 2024, The Thailand Environment Institute (TEI) led a team by Dr. Chattree Phurat, Director of Green Labeling and Environmental Labeling Department, and team member of Thailand Environment Institute (TEI). Implemented the project of Capacity development on Ecolabel establishment for Lao PDR, Cambodia, and Bhutan together with Thai-German International Cooperation(GIZ) and officials from the Bureau of Standards from Bhutan, led by Miss. Cheki Zangmo, and Mr. Jigme Wangchuk, which represents steel producers of Bhutan. Visited the factory and study environmental project of the Thai Koon Steel Group, which has concretely carried out conservation of natural resources and the environment within the organization. As well as being aware of the importance of the production process of steel sections and steel chains. Which has an environmentally friendly production process to present environmental management operations that are beneficial to steel trading groups interested in operations environmental aspect further.
