Thai Koon Group participated in the TEMBO Art & Style, a family-oriented cultural festival aimed at raising environmental awareness through the transformation of waste, as well as supporting the charity auction of the special ‘Elephant Hope’ lamp. The event was held at the TEMBO Hotel & Resort, Bangrak Beach, Koh Samui, Surat Thani Province.

From August 15–17, Thai Koon Group joined this vibrant festival for families, which sought to highlight the environmental impacts of waste—ranging from scrap metal to plastic—by encouraging participants to design and model outfits made entirely from discarded materials. These creations were judged on creativity, sustainability, and their positive contribution to the environment, showcased on the inventive and thought-provoking stage of the TRASHion Show.

Another highlight was the international award-winning documentary Love and Bananas, which chronicles a daring 48-hour mission to rescue a 70-year-old blind Asian elephant from captivity and bring her to safety.

At the event, the special ‘Elephant Hope’ lamp was presented for auction, symbolizing the promise of a brighter future in support of the Save Elephant Foundation and the Foundation for Environmental and Social Development. The proceeds contribute to the rescue, rehabilitation, and protection of elephants’ rights, while also advancing efforts in environmental conservation.
