SUSTAINABILITY

As a result of the new wave of COVID -19 epidemic occurring in many areas of the country. Causing many hospitals to face the problem of bed shortages to accommodate critically ill patients, Thai Koon Steel Company and its subsidiaries therefore donated to contribute the construction of negative pressure ward for the supply of ICU rooms and necessary medical equipment. Mr. Sanguan Sakunworaratana, Managing Director of Thai Koon Steel Group donated 2,000,000 baht to the Faculty of Vajirapayaban, Nawamintrathirat University at Dusit District, Bangkok on June 4, 2021. This negative pressure ward has been renovated from the obstetrics/Gynecology building, urgently expanding support for COVID-19 patients. The ward is designed to control internal pressure to be lower than outside to prevent germs inside not to spread to the outside and also kill germs inside the ward through an air purifier.
