Activity to support Burmese in Thailand for Buddhist practices at Chomnimitra Temple, Samutprakarn Province during Apr 11 - 15, 2015.

Thai Koon Steel Group donated funds, drinking water, food, beverages, medicine and essential households to abbot of Chomnimitra Temple in order to support Buddhist practices during Apr 11-15, 2015. Mr. Thant Zaw Min, Burmese employee of the company, conducted this program especially for Burmese people living in Thailand. He persuaded Burmese from different places and also invited Burmese monks from Myanmar to preach . Over 400 participants joined this program. The program took place at Chomnimitra Temple, Bangchak, Phrapradang Samutprakarn Province for 5 days. On these days, the participants observed religious precepts in order to become more self-discipline and also practiced meditation (sitting, walking) in order to gain mastery of the mind.

The “THAI KOON x PiN For Thai Elephants: Elephant Hope Lamp” project continues to bring hope to Thai elephants through contributions to two organizations:

Thaikoon Group participated together with Colonel Dr. Sumon Nakchalerm, donated steel pipes, structural steel, and perforated angle bars to support the construction of homes for the underprivileged in Chanthaburi Province.
